Membership & Enrolment Terms

1. Nature of the Reading Club

Words & Wonder is a comprehensive children’s and youth reading club in New Cairo, founded and led by Khadra Mohamed. The club provides structured, age-appropriate English reading, guided discussion, critical thinking and vocabulary development in small groups for girls (ages 7–18) and boys (ages 7–15).

2. Enrolment and Parental Consent

All registrations and expressions of interest must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. Enrolment is subject to cohort capacity, age appropriateness and mutual agreement on meeting times. Sessions run Monday to Thursday; each group meets once weekly on its assigned day and fixed time. Parents may indicate a preferred day; final schedules are confirmed by Words & Wonder.

3. Fees and Reservation

The monthly programme fee is 2,300 EGP per reader. To secure a place you pay a 1,000 EGP reservation payment upfront, which is deducted in full from the first month, leaving a 1,300 EGP first-month balance. From month two, the regular 2,300 EGP monthly fee applies.

• A place is secured only after the reservation payment. Registration without payment does not reserve a place.
• The reservation payment is non-refundable once a place is secured.
• Times are fixed by age category and are not individually adjustable.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

If Words & Wonder cancels a scheduled session due to unforeseen circumstances, the missed session is refunded. The reservation payment is non-refundable once a place is secured. Please notify us on WhatsApp in advance if your child must miss a session, so we can support their progress through the programme.

5. Reading Books and Editions

Club fees cover facilitation, pedagogical guidance, circle management and the Reading Passport. The fee does not include printed or digital copies of books. Parents obtain the assigned English edition for their child; we notify you of each stage’s selected title in advance with guidance on obtaining the suitable edition. Books are not sold and no fees are processed through this website.

6. No Online Payments or Checkout

This website does not process credit cards, automated e-commerce transactions or recurring billing. The reservation payment and monthly fees are arranged directly with our team on WhatsApp after enquiry.
